Hi - Son, RHP 2017 was asked to participate in upcoming showcase event at Campbell U. It has not been on our radar, but it looks like it could be. Any info or insights would be helpful. From website looks like new head coach was assistant coach for several years and looks like they have a good coaching staff & roster draws from all over the US. They appear to have a good record and strong in their conference. Academically - he's interested in business and that looks fairly strong, along with other subjects of interest. Did a search here but info is several years old, so any newer info would be helpful. Many thanks!

Campbell has a lot to offer the right student athlete. With Haire taking over ther reigns they won't miss a beat. He was a top notch recruiter and his work ethic was non stop. I believe this will transition well into the head role. The facilities are nice and I believe they have/had some plans to upgrade them as well. The team is always competitive in their conference and has some talent coming in as well.
Thanks so much for your input, @oleballcoach - I really appreciate it. we look forward to visiting!

Will do, will take notes, take it all in. we are spending the weekend there to see the school and have son participate in the showcase camp.
Just returned from the camp - was very well run, about 40 players from mostly the region, but a couple from PA, MD and OH. The level of play and skill was high, and my son pitched 3 innings and had a great showing. Then played 1st, 3d & outfield. They moved the boys around after they played their primary positions. In the morning they did the pro-style workout and played 4 games this afternoon, each player got to participate in two games which ran about 5 shortened innings each. It was a 2 day camp with one day options, son opted for Sunday only since he was scheduled to take SAT on Saturday. Campus was quiet (Sunday morning) but nice size, nice looking brick buildings, town is just a few buildings, but nearby Lillington has more establishments. Coaches were very positive and encouraging and gave each boy a chance to show his skills. Started @ 8 am and finished up after 4 pm. Campbell U coaches were there along with 4 D1 coaches - Elon, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington and NC State. We ate at the newly opened Moes' (southwestern fast casual cuisine) (thank goodness) as there were few places to eat and what was there was mostly closed on Sunday.
