can an athletic scholarship be pulled

If everything I have read is true, the scholarship cannot be pulled for 1 year...they must honor it. Most good schools would not do that anyway. However, after the 1st year it can be changed for lots of reasons.

Most schools will try to help him recover. If he was a top pick, they will work it out.

Another good reason to do research well beyond I like their uniforms, campus, football team, babes, stadium...

I believe most college ships are year to year, but as starzz said, it would be highly unlikely that the school would pull it in the situation you mentioned.
