Just want to let everyone know that Cangelosi Baseball just opened up the registration to its 2009 Winter College Development Camp It is actually the 2nd Annual Cangelosi Baseball Winter College Development Camp and is designed to give collegiate instruction to players serious about advancing to the next level. The campers will be instructed by college coaches from all levels (Division I, Divisions II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College) over two weekends. This is a great opportunity for attending players to interact with local and national college coaches from all different levels of collegiate baseball. Last years event brought in more than forty college coaches from across the country and this year we are expecting significantly more.

This camp was --once again --a huge success !!

Unrivaled by any other competitor/ organization in our area . ..Sorry to any naysayers out there ...that is just the hard plain truth .

Congratulations and thanks go out to Cangy , Dave P ., Bo , and of course Billy C for putting this tremendous event together for the kids who attended .

NO PLACE LIKE DOME !!!

I wasn't able to attend, but have talked to a couple college coaches who worked that camp. They gave it rave reviews. When the coaches think it was great, you just know the players did too.

When the head recruiter from Stanford is throwing BP in the middle of winter in Illinois, you've got something extra special going on. Why would anyone ever think differently.

Why would anyone even look for anything negative about this camp? Surely the kids had to benefit the most and that is what really counts.

To answer your question.

Why would anyone even look for anything negative about this camp? Surely the kids had to benefit the most and that is what really counts.

Because lots of people have agendas and axes to grind. Kind of like you see in Springfield right now, not enough pay-ola or backscratching leads to wire tapping, lawsuits, etc.

There are some people/ organizations around here that feel that the best way to be considered one of the best is to attempt to tear down and criticize those who are on top using feeble and desperate measures that are laughable at best. They know of no other way to operate in their quest . Combine the dome with the reputation and credibility/integrity of the Sparks/Cangelosi group ----and they see the writing on the wall and what they are up against .

Its the usual person/persons who typically engage in this type of activity . Unfortunately sad ...but true . What they fail to realize or are unable to comprehend for whatever reason is that when they are found out , people in the baseball community will once and for all realize that these person/persons are not genuinely in it for the kids . Kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face . Of course this is just one persons opinion /educated guess ...but what would i know ?

Cangelosi/Sparks/Jackson/Dome ---For the kids !!

Hope that answers your question .
