You may have listed those schools in the order they will finish the year. I like all three this year. Hanover may look like the front runner on paper. Elrod had a young group of talented kids at Atlee that should not be counted out. LD always puts a quality team on the field.

I posed the question in another thread, but its worth repeating....could Varina be the sleeper? Strong up the middle. Very athletic. Couple of bats that will surprise you. Depth may be their issue. They could be the team to throw a kink in the standings though which could be fun.

Varina has Epps in the MIF. Lefty hitter solid glove. Will provide innings on the hill. Poh at 1B and on the hill. He's left/left and has talent on both sides of the ball. A transfer from New Kent, Carpenter, will be a force in the middle of the line up. Their catcher (dont remember his name) reminds me of Props from Henrico. Which leads me to Henrico.

Henrico will be led by Props behind the dish. But they loss Mansfield (Lynchburg), Prentiss (VCU), Baterra, and another couple of keys from their 2010 team. I dont look for them to fall off the map completely but between Mansfield and Baterra they lost probably 75% of there innings on the mound. Coach Schrad does has been doing a wonderful job with those guys over there so I'd imagine that he'll have them working hard to try to stay a playoff team.

I generally wouldn't put too much stock in JV team performances.

One program may be weak on varsity, so that a lot of frosh and sophs are up there, and the JV team gets depleted so that it has a bad season. Another program may be loaded on varsity, so that a lot of sophs are starting on JV. Two years later, the guys with more varsity experience are sometimes better positioned to have a winning varsity season.
