My son has his heart set on going to UF. While he would love to play baseball there he's quite aware of the realities of walking on. However, he was denied admission to UF (3.8 GPA, 1140 SAT) so he is considering going to Santa Fe and enrolling in a transfer program. Here's the catch 22...he's certainly good enough to play JUCO as there has been interest from other schools. If he signs a letter of intent to Santa Fe, he could miss an opportunity that may arise during his senior season. If he doesn't sign a letter of intent, there may not be a position open on the Santa Fe roster should no other worthwhile opportunity arise. Help me out here. Thanks
