catcher interference

im just wondering about the ruling of catcher interference... is it when the catchers glove touches the bat... is it still interferece if the batter loops his swing late and hits the catchers golve on purpose

Catcher Obstruction (interference) occurs when the catcher:

1. Touches the bat
2. Pushes the batter to reach the pitch
3. Steps on or across home plate to reach a pitch

If the batter swings and hits the catcher on purpose then you could have Batters interference.........I'd have to see that
