Catchers in the Central region.

Cosby junior Luke Lowery is probably the premier guy in the area. He is headed to East Carolina after he graduates.

Others I like:

Hank Parsley (sr) at Lee-Davis
Keith(?) Searles (so) at Hanover
Collin Lawless (jr) at James River
Mitch Keeler (jr) at Atlee

I don't know his name, but the catcher at Henrico is solid too I believer. I also saw the catcher at Tucker (not sure if it's Engler or someone else) and liked him too. One other note...a kid named Kenner Berry is behind Keeler at Atlee but he's also a very good catcher.

Note- I haven't seen a ton of high school ball this year, so anyone I've left off this list is because I haven't seen them not because I don't like them.

Jake Austin is the Tucker catcher. Yes, he is vey solid.

The guy at Henrico is an excellent catcher - his name is "Props"...first name escapes me

Jake Austin is one of the best receiving catchers around - and he can hit for power. Great can-do attitude and toughness.

I agree Luke Lowery is umdeniably one of the best out there.

Andrew Props is the catcher at Henrico.

He will be playing baseball at Lynchburg College next year. Great kid.
