Catchers Mitt Sizing??

I'm glad some one asked this, Dad is looking to get a catchers mitt to catch for Son. I have no idea how the sizing works sometimes they say 14 or 13.5. Will some one please explain this.

It measures the circumference. Larger the hand, larger the glove. I don't have big hands but used a 34 for a while and wasn't a problem. Now I switched to a 33.5.

Ya I have a 34 inch and like it a lot. It gives you that extra bit to hang onto those foul tips. If you have a medium sized hand like me Id say look for a 34 inch one. But its your call in the end, not mine. Ive never had any experience with Akadema so I cant help you there. Sorry thats all I got.
