Registration is now open for our first Video Analysis Throwing Camp!
At the camp, video will be featured throughout each of the 2 days. A lot of the group instruction will include going over video of high-level throws from MLB players to Team USA Fast Pitch players for the women, focusing on the throwing motion pattern those elite athletes use to deliver a ball to their target.
The camp is 4 hours-a-day for those two days for catchers ages 12-21 (middle school through college athletes welcomed). We will meet each day from 12-4pm. Because we cannot teach throwing without going into stance and receiving first, that will be a part of the initial instruction on the first day. Otherwise, the majority of the camp will be based on teaching proper throwing arm motions and the mechanics needed to incorporate those bio-mechanically-sound patterns into a catcher's throw.
The cost is $200 (an $8 processing fee will be assessed for all online registrations) for those two days and includes a voice-over video of myself outlining the changes which took place in each individual catcher during the camp and the corresponding strengths and weaknesses at the end of Sunday's session. In the video your catcher would be compared to those in the game who do it the best and I will very thoroughly explain the differences or similarities in their throwing patterns.
