Apparently Catholic has a coach...The boys have been told that they will meet the new head coach on monday!! Whats with all the mystery? May be they hired one of the MLB guys fired last year!

Don't know the school, other than what I have read here. To be so secretive and take so long....doubt this will end well....I hope I'm wrong.

That is correct, vavals. I heard the news yesterday. I heard the name but don't know the correct spelling so will leave that alone.

New coach was a no show at the meeting today; reportedly stuck in traffic on the peninsula. Shooting for next Monday. Everyone pray for a parting of the seas so he can make it next week! In the meantime other conference teams are working on winter conditioning through that dreaded thing known as out of season practice!.

Bdog, I'm using one of my life lines here on you Bdog. Aren't there 6 other days before next Monday to try for another meeting?

Marlin....I think they are waiting until Feb 14th since that's the day pitchers and catchers report to MLB camps.

Here we go Birddog.......3 hours and counting.....getting the pep rally started....

for pep rally and meeting. They have a coach and an assistant so things should get rolling for the kids. Glad to hear it and now they can get focused on the season.

Just to follow up....Paul Hall played for the apprentice school and Billy Martin who played at catholic will be his assistant.

Yes...Paul Hall is the HC and Billy Martin will be his assistant. The JV coach is also returning.
