Central Arizona

Son will be attending next fall. 3rd in 2008 JUCO World Series. Ranked 3rd in preseason poll for 2009.
Many players move on to 4 year programs. Check out their website. Conference is very competitive. Also has a transfer program which guarantees acceptance into ASU, Arizona or NAU.

CAC has been a solid program for a long time. I believe the school has dorms, and is maybe 40 minutes south of Phoenix, kind of out in the desert.

At the AZ Fall Classic the AZ JUCOs play a night showcase game at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ (Spring training facility of the Mariners) and it was very well attended by lots of colleges and pro scouts. Probably over 100 -check their website too for the list.

We have had a couple local high school kids from our area play there many years ago & they have spent time in the bigs. Not to mention, Rich Harden went there as well.

Wish my kid was going there!!!

- Competitive most years (great run last year to JUCO WS 3rd Place finish)
- Great track record of guys getting to next level (MLB & NCAA). (7) have already signed Div I NLI's.
