We went last year - for the money not a bad event. Unfortunately it rained so about 1/2 the pitchers weren't seen. The Assumption staff worked hard to keep the field in shape, but in the end as usual mother nature got the win. My son got to pitch, but he hadn't done his homework beforehand so perhaps he got 2 of the 15 or so schools in attendance to take notice. Many seemed to have a list of players they were looking at and then would try to find a standout/stud after that.

I think if you follow Bobby Tewksbury's advice and determine whether the school(s) you are interested will be attending... Then make the determination if you want to attend. While a few D-1 schools may attend - they're probably doing so to find a needle in the haystack and to network with other coaches.
