Central Region Alums Heading to Cape Next Summer

About half of the Cape Cod league's 10 teams have posted most of their rosters for next summer. The Central Region is well represented.

Orleans (currently the Cardinals, no word on whether their name will change) will have Deep Run's Deck McGuire, currently a standout soph. at Ga. Tech, also named the top prospect in the Coastal Plains League last summer (I think he was with the Peninsula Pilots team).

The Bourne Braves (who will keep that name) will have James River's Austin Stadler, now a freshman with Wake Forest.

The Hyannis Mets (team name still in question) rounded up three names familiar to area fans. Tyler Wilson of Midlothian, now a soph. at UVA, coming off being named the top prospect last summer in the Great Lakes league, after also being a gold medalist with Team USA's 18u squad the previous summer. James River's Daniel Marrs, now a freshman at Wake Forest. Also Prince George's Jackie Bradley, now a freshman at South Carolina.

also now at jmu clover hills sean tierney will be playing in the cape...and also not from the region but from the area at st. chris virginia techs austin wates will be in the cape

Many players know of their assignments, but only a few teams have posted their (not quite yet complete) rosters thus far. I'll keep an eye out for the others as the other teams post their rosters.
