James River beats Thomas Dale, 9-4. Austin Stadler nails 2 HR's and also goes 5 2-hit, 1 run innings for the win. It was 8-0 after three and Dale had yet to have a base runner, when JR started emptying the bench.
Deep Run narrowly escapes Cinderella Henrico, 1-0. Seth Cutler-Voltz holds Deep Run to three hits and one run, but Henrico gives him no support as Deck McGuire shuts them out on only 1 hit.
Cosby allegedly upsets Dinwiddie, 12-3. I say "allegedly" because a lot of us saw this one coming. Ronnie Shaban pitches for the win, and with him on the mound Cosby is super tough. If they can get any kind of pitching Thursday, Deep Run is in deep trouble, because Cosby is a superior offensive squad.
Hanover wins 3-0 over Patrick Henry. Jake Mayers allows only 1 hit in going the distance, also doubled in the game's first run.

7:30 +/- -- Cosby v. Deep Run.
Winners play Friday night for the region title, but advance to the state tourney irrespective of the outcome of Friday's game.
