Central VA 15 year old turns 16 in January looking for central VA travel team

Your timing is a tad late, as tryouts for the Canes, Cardinals and RBA West recently passed you by.

I think if you look down the list on the VA forum you'll find that the Drillers are holding theirs this weekend, though, so you might try them.

Also no harm in contacting the other teams to see if they are still able to accommodate you (subject to tryout). Though I must confess our Cardinals roster is full for fall, some of the others run multiple teams.

I'm assuming you're a 2015 player?

Who are (or were) the Powhatan Slammers? Was that the fall team run by Gregg Conner?

I tryed out for the Sentinels 16u Elite team last night and going to be playing in a tournament with them next weekend. Yes, I'm a 2015 player. The Powhatan Slammers were never really a great team, but it was run by Mike Ritt and Kent Langston during the past few years and we just did Richmond travel leagues and CBC. But about 7 years ago they had two age groups. It wasn't affiliated with coach Conner.
