Any one have any insight as to this program and its reputation, other than the thread a week or so regarding the 38-0 trouncing.

What is the school like as well, academics and college life?

Its a private Christian school in Charleston, SC (hence the name).. pretty good school and has a solid coach in gary murphy...good reputition...small school...good atmosphere...grades-wise...keep em' up...its not a rigorous academic system. good luck

vtfod...Charleston Southern has a very good program. They played Savannah State Wednesday and gave them a pretty good game, but lost to Savannah State, 5-4.

Coach Murphy is a first class coach, if he is interested it is genuine. I believe this program is on the verge of stepping up a notch. He has just brought in a few very good prospects in early signing period. Christian environment, Competition played is strong, Campus is very nice, not a historic campus but spacious. Small enrollment about 4000 currently. Beautiful weather, near the beach, Charleston itself is absolutely fabulous.

Baseball field is only about 2 years olds, Not a stadium, but nice...hopefully they will keep adding to it.
