Anyone have information on this school and program? Have shown great interest in my son.

They have a nice schedule with good exposure.
They are a small D1 program trying to get to a 500 record and improving.
The coaching staff is improving as well.
They just announced last week that they are adding lights to the field. This should certainly help with recruiting. Former player Tyler Thornburg made his debut last year. I believe his dad used to post here, but I cannot remember his user name.
Anyone else with recent feedback on the school and program?
They have been up and down in the years my 2 sons have played them. Charleston is a neat place to live but very expensive. Campus is nice. The facilities still will need some upgrades but the lights will definitely help.
My last post was 10 years ago. They are 163 in RPI.
They tried a tough schedule this season and not really sure that it worked out in their favor.
@d-mac posted:They lean heavy on transfers. I would look at them if coming out of JUCO or the portal, but would be cautious out of high school.
They seem to have a larger freshman class slated for this fall - PG is showing 14 2023 commits with only 4 designated by PG as pitchers. Early 2024 class on PG shows only 5 - 2 of which are shown as pitchers. Looks like they have a healthy number of seniors/grad this year that will largely roll off.
