Bottom of the heap in D1 baseball.

No money in the program.

Not enough kids, even local ones, consider the school.

Take some great trips.

Look at what they've done the last few years and you will see how "overmatched" they are in baseball.

They do the same thing in basketball: have their heads handed to them instead of playing against competitive teams.

I'm in Chicagoland.
leb....If you're talking about the baseball team, from what I've seen, they don't have 11.7 talented players on the team; too, they likely don't fund the 11.7 max that they can fund.

Not sure what they are trying to do with the basketball program. Play mostly away games to get the gate money.

Players are way overmatched for the schools that they play.

No one recognizes that they shouldn't be at D1 for right now.
Alright I think I understand......your saying that they can do better than what they have and they aren't using there funding correctly? Also they are only playing 3 home games for here baseball season this year to according to their schedule on the website so I guess they are very similar to the basketball team in many ways.

I'm actually reconsidering this, since they don't fund for baseball or basketball, which are their 2 biggest sports, what do they fund for? Just smart students?? You said it yourself they don't have enough kids.....

O and also I think its pretty pathetic that there HEAD Coach played football for 5 years and knows very little about baseball.
