Here is a great opportunity for kids from the Chicasgoland area ages of 8-18 to work with a Division 1 Coaching staff for 5 consecutive Sundays. Head Coach Vern Hasty is a pitching guru that is in the process of writing a book about pitching mechanics. He has been a head coach at two different junior colleges and also has been a Division 1 pitching coach at three universities. Hitting Coach Jim Sammons has worked as a head assistant for 4 years now at two different universities and also has worked for Major League Baseball in The Netherlands as an envoy. Emanuel Wheeler another assistant at Chicago State University played baseball at the Division 1 level and is an up and coming coach.
