My son was invited to The Chcoago White Sox Academy Prospect Camp for this June.
Any thoughts on this camp??
He is a junior and we need to make sure he is attending well scouted events rarher than raising funds for these camps.

I am also interested in this tryout how did son get invited what age group ect.

You can check out the details on their website. Usually, they have a good amount of college coaches there from all levels. So if your kid is D1 or D3, there will be someone there for him to be seen. It's on par in price with most showcases and unlike alot of other showcases it's 2 days long. In the past they broke the kids up and played games which is what colleges like to see (kids in game situations) More than likely someone recommended him like his H.S coach, so you should ask him if he recommended your son. If he didn't, someone else probably seen him and recommended him.
