I offered either one of the two youngens I had in college to my brother. He could chose, no problem and no questions.
No response yet (except for some snickering) ... I'm wondering if that was related to my generous offer.
Since my youngest is in college, I've also decided that all of the old worn-old, child-torn, ragged couches, formerly stuffed chairs and ratty ottomans must go. I'm having a bon-fire out behind my house. Hopefully, I can keep the flames from reaching the structure using my garden hose, but I probably shouldn't have poured gasoline on all of those mattresses.
Since tuition for both are due in January and my eldest has announced his intention on attending grad school, I think I'll spend the rest of the spring on the floor. I've heard that eating/sleeping Japanese style was in "vogue".
