baseballstud, A HS coach should do everything within his power to ASSIST a player. However, the player and parents should be the catalyst in this process. A player should be contacting schools, filling out the questionaires, sending his schedule, etc. A coach should be there to provide guidance, answer questions honestly for player and colleges, fill out the coach's part on the questionnaire, etc. IMO, it IS NOT the job of a coach to get a kid recruited - it's his job to help. This is a kid's future - one that should be driven by him and parents. JMO
