We have had a throwing program all school year to this point with little stress put on the kids arms. Seemed like everyones arms were really doing well and getting stronger until the last two weeks.. Suddenly just like the middle of most seasons i've had the past couple years. the kids are complaining of elbows and shoulder soreness..This is kiling me.. I really don't think they have thrown too much. Any suggestions? More tubing and jobe is all i can think..I guess i will have to let them take off most of December throwing.

Discomfort/soreness and pain are two very different things. Discomfort means "take it easy." Pain means "stop."

If your guys are experiencing pain that doesn't quickly get better with rest, then they could very well be doing permanent damage to their arms.

Since this happened suddenly, I would suggest that something has changed in the last two weeks. Have you upped the intensity? Have you increased the frequency? Have you added a new drill?
