September 1 - 11 is a quiet period for NCAA Div 1 Baseball. As I understand it only on campus face-to-face contacts are permitted, with no off campus contact. But this past weekend at Cal State Northridge, there were coaches not from Northridge in attendance at the All Cal State Prospect Camp. How are those coaches permitted to be there? Because they were employed by Cal State Northridge for the event, rather than working on their own behalf, perhaps?

They are allowed to engage in such interactions as go with the instructional objectives of the camp.
It's a tight line to walk, but a player can hope they are making notes and that maybe come Sept. 12 some more communication might follow.
Well maybe that is why my son has not heard anything... but people are saying you should hear something by Sept. !st....and I posted so much bah bah bah on another thread... about not hearing anything and now its past Sept 1st..

No such luck. Email and phone calls are permitted during quiet periods.
