I see both VCU and Ferrum are looking for new head coaches. Who might be the top candidates for these positions?

I've heard nothing of Stiffler leaving VCU, and I don't think he was interim. At least I never heard him referred to as interim. Maybe he technically was the interim coach, but my guess is this "vacancy" is just a technicality required by the state in order to make him the permanent head coach.
I think the most interesting coaching search will be at Longwood...does anyone have any update as to where they stand on replacing Bolding? I think that's a very attractive job.
This would definitely be news to the VCU staff. Where did you "see" this?
Pretty sure the VCU staff is staying in tact.
As for the Longwood job - Head Asst Brian McCulough has the inside track but I am sure they will have to do a search since it is a public school.
One thing is for sure - the coaching carousel is always interesting to say the least.

As a state agency, VCU is required to advertise any open position and go through the state agency hiring processes. They may well fully intend to give the job to Coach Stiffler, but they have to do this first. I'm sure someone explained all that to Coach Stiffler, so the posting would not catch him off guard.
