Since you bumped this TPM I will add in the already reported hiring of Matt Curtis at Cal State Northridge.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Matt Curtis, who for the last ten years has been a major contributor in one of the West Coast's most successful college programs, has been hired as head baseball coach at Cal State Northridge. Curtis comes to CSUN from Fresno State where he served as assistant coach for a program that has won five consecutive Western Athletic Conference titles, made four NCAA tournament appearances in the last five years, and won the 2008 College World Series.

Not sure if this is new news but Gary Carter took over Palm Beach Atlantic's program last October. He is now 1 of only 2 collegiate coaches who are members of the pro baseball Hall of Fame (Tony Gwynn is the other). Exciting stuff for the lucky young men who get the opportunity to play for someone with those credentials.
