They play in the NEWMAC conference. Strong academic conference which includes MIT, WPI, Babson, Springfield, Wheaton, Clark, and Coast Guard. Baseball wise the conference leader is Wheaton, ranked last year #2 in the nation. Although MIT, #2 in the conference and WPI, #3 in the conference will give Wheaton a run for their money this year. Coast Guard has a good pitching staff and should be up there fighting for the conference title. You can't go wrong with the education or the baseball at any school in this confernce.
My son plays for WPI. He was the starting SS last year as a freshman. They usually play double headers on the weekend and 1 or 2 games during the week. Most schools play about 36-38 games not including the conference tournament and the NCAA tournament or the ECAC tournament.
