I think everyone here said that Coastal Carolina has an outstanding team with very talented players and great coaching staff. There is no question that they are very good.

The original discussion was more about recruiting and the top 40 or 50 (what ever that is) baseball programs based on high profile recruiting. Not which team is the best this or any given year.

If I look at Boyd's ratings of the current top 50, there are some programs (not Coastal Carolina) that most would say are not a top 50 program in the eyes of the most heavily recruited high school players in the country. It's not a slam on those programs, it's just the way things are. If you take everything into account from facilities, conference, exposure, attendance at games, size, history, etc. there are some listed in Boyd's top 50 who would not be considered high profile programs. There are top 50 programs not listed.

Just for the record... I'm sold that Coastal Carolina belongs on any list of top 50 baseball schools at this time. Some of the others on this list, I'm not so sure of.

Friend was there and had a blast.

ps UNCC is in Charlotte. UNC CH are the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill. It's confusing, having what 15 UNC schools areound the state.

Yeah I saw that I had a typo but wouldn't let me edit it. Wish I'd been there.

We are planning to get to a few. Nice facility in Cary!
