If I ever saw baseball drive one conference realignment or significant conference decision (i.e. changing composition of divisions within a conference), I'd fall out of my chair.

I simply cannot let your cynicism go unchallenged. I am sure the decision has nothing to do with money and everything to do with a careful analysis of how best to fulfill the highest ideals of enriching academic experience through amateur athletic competition.

They must of had NCAA guidance then if they are looking out for the student-athlete!
