Schools' admissions policies vary widely; although the deadline for applications tends to be pretty strictly enforced by most. The best advice I can give you is to have your son contact the lead recruiter for those programs that made offers and ask them for their guidance.

If the offer came in after the deadline for applications had passed, I have to believe that the program has a mechanism built into its admissions process to handle exceptions like your son's. Still, it's the lead recruiter who can advise him best.

Most schools that make a "late" baseball offer will have ways to get you in if it is past the general application deadline. This would be something to discuss with the school making the late offer, but it is not something to stress over. Why would they make an offer if something like this is an issue?

Son was offered BB money from a Big East school 2 weeks before the start of school without applying, the coach said it was no problem admitting him.

I'm not worried about it. I just never ran across this issue and wondered how it was handled.
