College All-Conference Teams

As of today...the ODAC has not been posted.

Hokieone's #2 son was named HM DH in the USASAC!

eventhough the All ODAC team has not been published yet. Matt Hudgins from VWC was POY, which was really a no brainer.

Hampden-Sydney baseball website has the All ODAC teams listed.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Two of West Florida's top pitchers were voted to the 2007 Daktronics All-South Central Region Second Team. Senior starter Brett McCullough (Cantonment, Fla. / Tate HS) and Junior reliever Phil Lawhorn (Virginia Beach, Va. / Pensacola JC) were two of 30 players selected by sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools around the country.

West Florida continues to earn post-season honors

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - While West Florida was participating in their first NCAA Division II Tournament, two Argonauts were recently honored for their accomplishments. Pitchers Brett McCullough (Cantonment, Fla./Tate HS) and Phil Lawhorn (Virginia Beach, Va./Pensacola JC) were named to the 2007 Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association All-South Central Region Second Team. McCullough and Lawhorn were also named to the Daktronics Baseball All-South Region Second Team earlier this month.

Head coaches from the south central region's 36 schools from the Gulf South, Heartland and Lone Star Conferences selected the team. McCullough and Lawhorn are the ninth and 10th Argonaut named to the all-region team. Of West Florida's 10 all-region honorees, eight have been pitchers.

I didn't know this earlier, his 14 Saves was also a Conference record.

He ranks third all-time in career saves (with one more year to go). Lawhorn's 11.32 strikeouts per game were the second-highest single-season total and his 30 appearances were also a second-best single season tally.
