The lesson is simple. If a kid is an aspiring college athlete, a college athlete or professional athlete he/she must keep a clean MySpace or Facebook site. When a player recieves a ride to college or signs as a pro, they represent an organization. Questionable items on these websites can become an embarassement to the organization and cost them their position.

I had an 18U travel softball player lose a ride over some party pictures on her MySpace site. Many coaching staffs now check for this stuff. A friend's son's minor league team was told in spring training not to embarass the organization with inappropriate postings on these sites.
