Does anyone agree that it stinks the way college baseball gets seemingly no coverage at
all in the national media until the college championship series. It looks like espn could cover some of the major d1 conferences or at least report the score in their bottom line ticker. What's up with that ?

Amen to that-you're preaching to the choir here! College baseball is great viewing at any level, and it puzzles me that somebody doesn't sweep it up, whether ESPN or Fox. The NCAA D-1 Regionals were sold as a package last year on the Dish network, and apparently sold very well.

I assume that the powers that be aren't convinced there's money to be made, although the success of the CWS should make somebody sit up and take notice.
Where I am most disappointed in the coverage of college baseball is in BaseballAmerica. A bit more balance between the professional and college coverage could add a lot and just might have an audience of worthwhile size. I love what they do, there just is not nearly enough of it. The preseason issue, for example, is as good as it gets. Things after that, though, all but disappear.
