For once, the lesser known guys get a jump on the D-I's as the D III schools can start their seasons earlier than the D-I's, with some games in California played in late January, and most southern D-III's well under way by mid-February.
Weather forecast for coastal Virginia says mid 50's by the weekend so we can dream of spring, although I suspect we're not seen our last snow here in the Shenandoah Valley.
