There likely won't be any restrictions on coaches talking to you if that's what you're asking.  This time of year, most camps are "instructional" meaning coaches are paid to be there...and can talk to you even if you're only a 2017.  With regard to the workout

1) when you do the throws to first while they have a gun....load up and throw as hard as you can on a couple of them.  Yes, they're looking for accuracy...but they are also looking for velocity.

2) in the BP portion....don't take a bunch of pitches waiting for the perfect pitch.  They are watching your swing...not where/how far the ball goes.  Nothing worse to a coach than seeing a kid take 7 or 8 pitches before swinging at one.

3) if you're a pitcher...make sure you give them at least a couple of your "best" fastball...meaning you need to get your best number on the gun.  It doesn't have to be every one, but don't be so worried about throwing strikes that you take 5 mph off your velocity

4) don't be afraid to say hi to coaches...say "Coach Smith, I'm Mike Jones...nice to meet you"...if they want to know more....they'll ask...if not, you at least put your name in their mind....which is more than 90% of the kids there will do

5) relax....have fun...and do what you can.  There will be more showcases....you'll have good ones...and some not so good ones
