Bighit....they played Cedar Valley, with their 2 former Panthers (Ian and Brian). I'll send you a little recap that I sent to the local paper -- they care little about East Texas JUCO baseball (*shrug*). Check for a PT tomorrow.

Bragging about games on a day I spent 7 hours driving in snow is cruel and unusual treatment. But I will forgive you.

I wanted to brag a little on one of our members son, Sportsmom03's son Chatham Bray had a strong first college outing as he went 7 innings allowing only 3 hits and 1 run this past weekend as Greenboro College defeated last years USCAA National Champion,
Lagrange , Ga 2-1. Greensboro won the weekend series 2 games to 1. Great start guys!

May I mention Frosh John Miller at Barton, Division II( John was with us for two years)--his first time on the mound this past weekend against Catawba-- 7 innings of shutout ball with 4 K's and allowing but three hits as Barton won 6-0--he struck out the final two batters to seal the win

Incidently, for the velocity fanatics, John is a 6 ft 3 inch lefty with great stuff--excellent location and control--but alas his FB merely hits 83/84 on a good day.

Congrats to John Miller. One of Chad's best friends plays for Barton, so I always root for them.

Thanks NCDAD on the comments about Chatham's first college outing. The great defensive plays by your Chad #1, and all the others, made for one exciting game.
