There would probably be a significant difference in an offer if recruited for catcher (higher offer) than MIF (the highest of other positions in general, but lower than pitchers/catchers)

A good offer is what is to be perceived by each individual player. 25% (minimum) may be not enough for one player, but more than enough for another. It may be all baseball, part baseball or no baseball, or could be nothing ( recruited walk on). The offer also depends on who is giving it and how he views the player's talent and contribution to the team.
I hear top prospect catchers can receive up to 35% at most large programs, depending on their tools. A catcher who can play other positions will be worth more, but not necesarrily to the larger programs. For some reasons, people think the larger the program teh larger the scholarship, not true.

This isn't TPM's first day at the rodeo, her numbers and insight jive pretty well with everything I have heard and know. Stud pitchers are generally 50% and catchers are second.
Catchers can get more then 35% at a top program, depending upon the desparation of the program. It mostly depends upon how many schools are seriously seeking your services.
