Is it Kosher to let other college coaches know you will be attending a camp/showcase put on by a particular college?

My son will be attending one in October and wonders if he should let the other college coaches know. The college organizing the camp/showcase tells him that it is an important part of their recruiting process given the limited budget they have for recruiting and other restrictions. How is that viewed by the coaches among themselves? Especially if they are from the same general vicinity.

Thanks!!

Generally, schools from the same division as the hosting school are not welcome. So if this is a D1 school, it's not uncommon for them to have a number of D3 and JUCO's there, but not any other D1's.

I would not let the other schools know you were going to be there, otherwise they may consider it a snub if you don't attend their schools showcase also.

Thanks CPLZ.

Yes its a D1 school. The other schools my son is interested in are JUCO, D3 and NAIA, mostly from the same general area. The JUCO has told him they will be having a camp later this Fall. The others haven't said. Do D3 schools put on camps/showcases? Or are they limited by what they can do as far as recruiting goes? We haven't seen anything on their websites yet.
