Hi all, unfortunately my plans to play summer ball for a team out in SF this summer fell through. Not because of playing performance, but for monetary reasons. Just the fact that I won't have enough money to sustain myself out there for a summer, even though I would live with a host family. I'm paying for all baseball endeavors on my own with 0 help from parents or a 3rd party. The team was just too much travel intensive to where about 3/4 of the games were away in different cities, which leaves no time for a part time job to work around the game schedule.
So pretty much, as I've asked this before, would anyone know of any summer collegiate leagues that are pay-and-play, and are pretty much on a sign-up basis? I'm leaning on just playing for my team in AZ again this summer, but wanted to know if there were any more options. Or even a summer team that isn't as travel intensive, so that I could get a part time job or internship around the team's game schedule. I'm fine with paying team/league fees but it would only work out if there is enough time to be able to work part time around the team's game schedule. BASEBALL IS MY MAIN FOCUS, but I need to make ends meet! Especially for paying for stuff on my own, along with paying back student loans, car insurance, etc. This is by far the most challenging part of my baseball endeavors at this time!
