I am an IA transplant, moved to Bellevue NE, about 6 miles from Rosenblatt stadium, and I have been very impressed with several aspects of the CWS. For one, I am amazed every year at the number of LSU and Texas fans and other fans from schools in the south. The fans are amazing, and it makes for a wonderful couple of weeks. I have actually been most impressed by the sheer number of LSU fans that make the trip to Omaha whether the Tigers are in the CWS or not. That is a true college baseball fan.

My question is this. If the Huskers keep winning like they have been the past few years, and keep advancing to the CWS, is there going to be some grumbling thatr NE has a home field advantage, and if so will it be enough that the CWS may think about moving?

I hate to say it, but I do worry about that. For me the middle of June is the best time of year to be an Omaha resident, and I hope it stays that way for a long time
