Son may play in a tournament in Omaha the same time the college world series is being played. Would like to go to a couple of games. Need advice about tickets and any other info that will make the experience great.
www.cwsomaha.com has all the info. you need regarding college world series tickets. I know many of those tournaments in omaha and lincoln will give a select number of CWS tickets to each team, and offer each team a chance to buy more. Check w/ them first, but go to the CWS sight if that's not true for the tourney you're going to.
Been to CWS 3 times, tickets are not hard to get unless Nebraska makes the big dance.Early round tickets are single game tickets sold in early AM. Once the elimation brackets start tickets are sold by sessions meaning one ticket for both games. The thing to do is go to 2nd game and arrive early and wait on fans exiting the first game, they will either give you or sell at face value.Beware of scalpers they are there to gauge you.The tickets the kids get will be for outfield only and are first come basis. If you can manage time off stay a couple extra days(Monday,Tuesday)lots of family leave Sunday and is alot less crowded.Make sure you stay around after games players will stay and sign afterwards, some will even give bats and batting gloves to the lucky ones.Bring lots of $$$. Verrrrry enjoyable experience for the WHOLE family.Lots to do for the whole family. Great Zoo.
