Need some help from the veterans here.

Tribe Jr. is a few weeks in to his first collegiate summer ball stint. From all accounts, he has a fantastic host family which has gone above and beyond to ensure that he is comfortable, well-fed and entertained while he plays ball. We've never spoken with them, but speaking with my son, they seem like really, really good people.

We (wife and I) would like to do something nice for them, but have no clue as to what etiquette is regarding these things.

Have considered everything from nice restaurant gift cards to donations to the league in their name, but nothing we've thought of seems quite right.

Would love to hear if others have addressed this, and better yet, any former/current host families out there.,,,thanks

A few weeks into son's first college summer experience he is thrilled with host family and all they do for him. They have sent pics of him playing. Just really really nice. I, like tribe, would love ideas. Son's GF went over last weekend (we are 4 hours away from where he is playing). We sent my wife's homemade cookies with her. They even put up his GF while she was there. Although my wife's cookies are amazing, not nearly enough. So any ideas you have would be great! .

Alias, I like that idea a lot. Evidently there are 5-6 families, all good friends, who host boys on same street and they constantly get together. Maybe Steaks for a grill out for everyone?
