well deep run tucker game will be a close one, they have split in the regular season, so that game is gonna be determined by who shows up to play and want it more

godwin vs hermitage
godwin is a very solid team with good defense and effective pitching, they are a hard team to beat.
hermitage is a team that seems to show up and play in big games but you never really know what you are going to get.
I say Godwin 10 Herm 3

Tucker 7 Deep Run 4

Godwin 6 Tucker 4 in championship.

Im sure Tucker will have Gorman or Engler on the mound, and who ever is on the mound for the wildcats isn't good enough to get by how the tigers are hitting. Brooks has been rocked both times, and boyle was rocked last time against the tigers.

I say a late deep run rally is held off, and tucker prevails.

as for godwin, they are too good and experienced all around the field, the only way i see them losing is if they throw someone they don't usually throw and herm throws their ace. godwin is already in regionals so they can lose and it won't affect them one bit.
I will go way out on a limb and say Hermitage's roller coaster is at a peak tonight and they knock off Godwin. That doesn't make any sense, I know. Considering the combined score of the two regular season matchups was 26-1 in Godwin's favor, maybe I've finally lost my mind (though I'll hedge a bit and say I decided to pick Hermitage before I saw the season results). Anyway, maybe Hermitage can focus and put it all together against a Godwin team with one eye on regionals.

Speaking of teams that are up and down...I'll take Deep Run over Tucker for no particular reason. It seems that it has been a bit of a tale of two seasons with both of these teams, as Deep Run seemingly started out well before tailing off, while Tucker was ok early and now they're on a pretty good roll.

I'll say:

Hermitage over Godwin 7-3
Deep Run over Tucker 8-5

Then Deep Run over Hermitage 9-1

These are strictly guesses and I fully expect mock and ridicule.
Deep Run managed to knock off Tucker tonight. So instead of causing another drive by to create a new user name and bait all the kind folks hanging out in the cyber baseball world: How bout thoughts, comments, predictions, crystal ball readings, whatever you got. What is gonna happen Thursday with Godwin/Deep Run?

Congrats to Tucker for a great season!
godwin is clearly the better team, but deep run has hit alittle bit of a hot spot, but the game is just kinda for bragging rights so probably no top pitcher from either team will be throw more than 3 or 4 at most, what I think will happen, soo whoever shows up and hits the ball and plays solid defense will win the game

also deep run seems to be very hard to beat at home, they only way you beat them at home is to go extra innings

9-8 Godwin

not sure there's THAT big a difference. DR could deeper on the mound, assuming an injury resolves. Overall hitting somewhat better. Defense certainly is where Godwin has an edge. Should be interesting.

My guess is this game looks just like a typical Godwin-Deep Run game for 3-4 innings. The coaches will want to come out with good pitching if for no other reason than to get in some work (especially Godwin who only played once this week). Then it will become a bullpen game and gets a little more offensive.

good assessment. whoever hits better 2nd half prob wins.
