But he is a low level recruit that has had quite a bit of interest from In state jucos but he is a very raw baseball talent 3 years in the game. But he says he will not considered a naia school because of teams are not very competitive I told him hes crazy I played naia and it was essentially the same as juco and d3 ya there is a couple money programs that are not very good but there is also a good amount of high end teams. Im just wondering if this is the thought of other recruits? Also any way I could get him to change his mind?hell they offer more money lol thanks guys

NAIA is a wide variety division, there are some teams that could compete with pretty good d2 schools and others that could barely beat some high school teams.  But if you get with the right ones the athletic and academic experience is good.  Most of the NAIA schools are all small town feel, some are funded well and some are not funded at all.  I have had players consider NAIA, over some d2 walk on spots, because NAIA can offer athletic scholarships and some of the schools are very good academically, so for a player who is D3, Juco or D2 level not to consider NAIA in my mind is nuts.

But this might be our guys in our area, i know of some school areas where basically everyone thinks they are d1, and if no d1 is interested they just dont go for sports.  so who knows.
