I just wanted to share great news with the board in which I have become dependent on to answer questions about the recruiting process. I have looked to this board also to read about others experiences and have gained so much knowledge. It can be very complicated. After our ups and downs with it all, my son(2015 RHP/MIF) has officially given his verbal commitment to Furman University. I just want to say how important it is for these ballplayers to work just as hard in the classroom as they do on the ball field. It certainly made a difference in my sons life. What a life changing opportunity he has been given.  Thank You Baseball Web for this informative forum.

Thanks to all. He was fortunate to be able to visit a few schools from different conferences in the ACC, SEC, SOCON and Conf. USA. He fell in love with Furman. Its such an immaculate campus and picturesque landscape. The baseball facilities are impeccable and they are continuing to improve upon them. He loved the coaches and sees that the program is up and coming. We are Blessed.

SS/MIF. But who knows where he'll end up next level. He can hit and runs a 6.5/6.6 right now so may end up in the OF but all that's in his/their hands now.

I think I saw you up there last week. We had his official visit homecoming weekend. Whit mentioned a Jacksonville kid was coming in for an un-official. I coached those Meteors teams you guys played in when you were WOB.
