I don't know but I also have a question.....why are the same coaches used every year? Why isn't it rotated or something. Every year its the same guys.....heck some of them don't even coach baseball anymore on some of the teams and they still coach. Why wouldn't all HS coaches be given a chance. Is this just their personal domain?
I tried out for the commonwealth team last year and i dont remember exactly when they were but i do remember them being over the summer. I am trying out again this year. I will get the info from my coach and try to get back to you with an exact date or time frame
They are usually held after district play, Tryouts are at Potomac on a Saturday morning. When you guys play Potomac ask Colangelo or Covington. They are still running them last I heard.
Good luck to all trying out, The North Team is very political and who knows who type of thing, you can be very talented and get passed over.
But go do your best and try out, you never know.
