Complete game or Suspended

We are the home team going into the bottom of the 6th, up by 3 runs. Our afternoon game started at 4pm and the rec teams were due to use the field at 6pm. The rec coach insisted he had the field. Umpires talked to both coaches and told them the game is suspended. Should it not be called as a complete game?

Sounds like the rec coach needed to chill out and let you finish the sixth then there wouldn't be a problem. Since the umpires didn't then it would be up to the governing body what to do. There is no rule to stand on because things like thins aren't supposed to happen.
