Conference reports, reporters

I'm in. Well, that would be indepth about the Southwestern Conference and some Mississippi Valley Teams. One MVC team, well, they work hard and will field 9 players minimum for each game. LOL!

I am going to do the MSL West (East, too if no one else does)

We haev guys that will do some of the out or the Chicago area conferences, how about some for the Chicago area?

Should be an easy job in 2006 with the Sox winning #2 of a string of 5 total...yes, folks...Williams and Ozzie have it going now....2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

I was just wondering how one person can report on all the teams and players in one coference. Especailly with there being 3-4 conference games per week once conference play starts. It seems like a good idea but it i think it will be hard to follow threw on.

Maybe Tiger Paw Mom will assist with the ACC.

Definitely the more the merrier! But sometimes when 5 people have a job, it doesn't get done, but if it is one person's responsibilty it does get done. Either way anyone is welcome to chime in. I don't think anyone expects someone to attend all games.......just keep us up on what is happening. Should be fun.

i got big 6, which should be fairly easy to cover, seeing how we play conference double headers every saturday

It was meant for HS Baseball, though I'm sure that no one would mind to hear how are locals are doing in College.

New to the scene , but I am willing to do some coverage of the Chicago Public League teams. They have a superconference for the best teams and that is more manageable.

The Top 3 teams in this weeks Baseball America poll are ALL from the ACC!

8 of the top 10 teams in this weeks BA poll are from the ACC and SEC.

Clemson,Ga. Tech,North Carolina and Florida State are a combined 32-2.

The pitching in the ACC is dominating. Florida State may have the 2nd best staff (on paper) in the country. They also have 2 of the country's best offensive players including last years player of the year Shane Robinson, yet they are the 4th ranked team in the ACC by BA!

Tonight there is a very big early season match-up between these 2 top conferences when @ 5:30PM C.S.T. the #5 Florida Gators host the #6 Seminoles of Florida State. (the Noles are ranked 6th in the 3 other polls while the Gator's have been @ #1 in most polls for a couple weeks before losing to the ACC's Wake Forest and Big 12's Missouri Tigers).

It's not official yet but he will be taking a medical red shirt.

After being named the starter he is very dissapointed, especially because they truly believe their going to Omaha this year.

His spirits are good and I just spoke to him. He's the on the bus to Gainesville yucking it up with the guys...a solid group with great chemistry.

Sorry to hear that. Best of luck on his recovery. I can understand the disappointment as he must have been pumped up after being named a starter in what really would be his freshman year - quite an accomplishment.
