You are right Reagan is a quality ball club with some very good kids in the program.


It was quite an event, this series was as close as you can get. All three games came down the the bottem of the 7th inning. It could have easily gone the other way.

Both 7th inning rallies started with 7,8,9 hitters (1st game)

8,9,1 in 2nd game

The 3rd game in the 7th inning was almost unbelievable.

8 hole hiiter lines out to 3rd base for 1st out
9 hole draws a 3-2 walk
1 hole hitter hits a cue shot just far enough to the ss left to where he has no play (runners at 1st and 2nd and 1 out)

2 hole (freshman)hits a singel to score the tying run he also moves to 2nd on the throw to the plate ( 2nd and 3rd with 1 out winning run on third base)

3 hole intentionally walked
4 hole works count to 3-2 and laces a line drive over the rightfielders head to send carroll to the quarterfinals.

This was the most unbelievable day (you had to see it to believe it)

Ctiger, there is a very good reason your 3 hole was intentionally walked. It is my understanding that he just broke the CCISD record for most home runs in a season!

It is truly amazing what these kids are doing.

Maybe that is a good tactic but I dont like it one bit.

That is 2 series in a row we have lost game one and the kids played there tails off on saturday to sweep 2 very good ball clubs with a rich tradition. (Austin Bowie and SA Reagan)

Who knows, I cant explain it. I hope we can continue this weekend with the positive outcomes...
