According to the UCLA website, his son Brett has been selected as one of the team captains(a very nice recognition for a junior) and is projected to be the starting 1st baseman.
Also, according to Baseball America, one of Doug's signees from the 2003 draft is already recognized as one of the top 10 prospects in the Nationals(Washington D.C. that is) organization.
